" FLUCTUATION OF CHANGE "

I find myself in a place of tremendous change going on all around me and change regarding my own life. A place of transition. The circumstances that have comprised my life are being majorly altered and I am beginning to see the outer banks of a new place that I am going to.
I do know that this place of change, of movement, is being unfolded by God's hand. I have been expecting to come to this place. I have indeed longed for it.
While I am excited that this "awaited time" has begun, I  believe Holy Spirit has shown me that how I move through, and into the new place, will look like peace or chaos!
Everything I do affects another person, or circumstance, in some way. It is important to be " swift in hearing, but slow in speaking." I  believe God is also showing me to be slow to react. I need to be continuously aware that a persons posture or demeanor is more often a reflection of what 'they' are going through..not intentionally directed towards me.

James 1:19 (nkjv)
"So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God."

We are living in times when not just a few, but many are
experiencing major change. Job changes, changing housing location, decreased income, uncertain futures,
are just a few "places" comprising life's landscape. They
all reflect our absolute need for safety and stability.
Others, have had dreams on hold and can sense the beginning of their unfolding. Still others find themselves where difficult struggles seem to be occurring at the very same time that it seems they about to see "the long-awaited dream/hope fulfilled..Where do we go? What do we do?
We lift up our heads towards heaven where Jesus is seated on the throne..We cry out to Him and ask Him to speak to us, to make Himself known to us in the middle of our struggle. God sometimes speaks to me through the  'acrostics' of a word.
He showed me: In the middle of our "MESS" we have a "Mighty Eternal Sovereign Savior", who Longs for us to know that He "see's" exactly where we are, who is waiting for us to respond to His gentle voice calling us to come unto Him, and whose one desire is that we know the height, the depth, the width of His love for us. He intends and wants "good" for us.

Psalm 50:14-15 (ASV)
"Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy  vows unto the Most High: And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify Me."

We go to the Bible..The God-Breathed Word of Life. In times like we are beginning to experience today, this is the only true source of clear direction..It contains the answer to anything we need understanding on.

"God's timing, direction and a discerning spirit are essential "keys" when moving  through the fluctuation of change." Transition overload is not the place He has for us as we move forward in Him. The affects of change are more far-reaching than we know or see.
But God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, of all things, knows the end from the beginning..He is the Alpha and Omega..The beginning, the end! He is not surprised at the "place" we find ourselves in.

Ecclesiastes 3:1(ASV)
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven..."

As we seek Him, His word that teaches and guides us, we will come to know that His promises are Yes and Amen!.He will see us through to more than we thought possible.
We must be gentle to others and ourselves..listen to each other more..and encourage each other as we travel this road together.
One last thing, If you have not received God's gift of salvation, His Son Jesus Christ, I believe today is your day. If you have come to a place of believing that Jesus gave His life for  you are only a simple step away.
Ask Him to let you know how much He loves you, give Him your days and let Him, His word guide, direct and keep you.
Surrender your life to Him, you will be amazed at the great plans He has for you!

Blessings in Jesus Name,
Drema
