" HIS FACE "

On March 27,2005, Easter Sunday morning, God spoke to me in a very visible, tangible way that:

"We Have His face..Jesus face..and that His face is the face of every man".

During this period of time, I used to go walking almost everyday..and the Saturday before Easter Sunday of 2005 was like most days. Except on this particular day, as I walked, Holy Spirit led me to make a change in my route of travel. Unsure at first..I followed His lead. 

The change in course ultimately brought me to where I was walking past a shopping plaza. There was a portable building sitting within the parking lot..I could hear someone talking in such a way that displayed their unhappiness with another person. As I got closer, I could see the one who was the recipient of the comments being made. He/She was lying on the concrete parking lot..totally "hidden" within a blanket. I begin to know that it was a passerby making comments to a homeless person.

I really felt bothered by the situation. 

As I began the walk home, Holy Spirit spoke to me and told to come back early the next morning, before I went to church. He gave me an instruction to follow.

Early the next morning, Easter Sunday, I took off on my walk, eager yet unsure, to do as Jesus had asked me to do.

I do at this point, need to share a little side information which really solidifies the unfolding of what God told and showed me...

I was a caregiver for one of my neighbors. In her home, she had a picture of Jesus and every time I would go there, I would look at this picture..It was a portrayal of Jesus as I had never seen before..The man's face, in this specific picture, was so very, very different.

I used to ask Jesus all the time,"Is this what you really look like?" I have seen Jesus in visions, so I had "my" idea of what he looked like. Even so, I can say that I truly was drawn to looking at it..often.

Now, back to the rest of "my walk".

I approached the area where the person had been sleeping the day before, (the person was there again), and I began speaking, saying what Holy Spirit had asked me to. At first, there was not much of a response, but as I simply blessed them and told them that "Jesus Loves you", the blanket  was suddenly thrown back. 

"I found myself looking into the very same face as the face of the man in the picture in my neighbor's house."

I cannot tell you my amazement. I was blown away..truly impacted....There wasn't anything else said by me..the man told me "thank you".

As I began my walk back home, I continued to just be in awe of our God, our Lord Jesus. By the time I arrived, Holy Spirit had begun to impart to me the following words, and I can tell you that as I went to church service that day...I was changed...I know that there is a lot more change that is needed in me..because Holy Spirit brought this back to me afresh a few days ago. I am confident in sharing this with you that you will be encouraged, if not changed also, by reading it! (HS/dh,03/27/05)

IT IS THE FACE OF BROKENNESS

IT IS THE FACE OF SHAME

IT IS THE FACE OF SORROW

IT IS THE FACE OF PAIN

WE HAVE HIS FACE...JESUS, HIS FACE...

THE FACE OF EVERY MAN!

WHEN OUR FATHER LOOKS AT US

IT IS HIS REFLECTION HE SEE'S

BUT THE DARK MASK OF EARTHLY EXISTENCE

HAS HIDDEN OUR TRUE IDENTITY!

JESUS CAME TO GIVE US LIFE

SET US FREE FROM ALL OUR SIN

HE ALSO CAME, THE TRUTH TO REVEAL...

"WE ARE CALLED TO A HIGHER-HEAVENLY PLACE,

 BECOME A SON OF GOD, JUST LIKE HIM!"

FROM GLORY TO GLORY, HE TAKE'S THE SHAME..

FROM GLORY TO GLORY, HE TAKE'S THE PAIN...

THE BROKENNESS GOES, THE SORROW FLEE'S....

AND THEN, BEHOLDING AS IN A MIRROR

WE DIMLY BEGIN TO SEE!

"MADE IN HIS IMAGE...CREATED BY HIS LOVE

UNFOLDING REVELATION..

ONE WITH HIM, OUR JESUS!

SPIRIT TO SPIRIT...

ONE WITH HIM, OUR GOD!"

God sent His only beloved Son to earth, became flesh and dwelt among man..taking on all the suffering/difficulties that man endures..so that we might come to know the great Love of our Heavenly Father, our Creator, and to let us know whose we are and that we are made in His image..That He is our destiny! 
He wants us all to take a "closer" look at each other...even though there are lots of differences in the way our "face" may appear, God see's us all the same.."made in the image of His Son.

"For God so loved the world..so must we!"

There hasn't been an Easter, since God showed me this truth so clearly, that I have not remembered this encounter. But, as I said earlier, I needed to be reminded..and I need to live more fully in it's truth! May we all be strengthened by it.

" THE LORD, OUR SHEPHERD "

Greetings, 
This past Tuesday morning, I was feeling a little "unsettled". I know when this happens "if" (when I make the choice to) I will just begin to "lift up a song of praise to Jesus, "He changes my atmosphere".
When I began to sing, He immediately spoke psalm 23 to me..and He did so with the following words. I want to share them with you, Hoping..Believing..that they will encourage you today!
"Jesus is our True Shepherd and He is on the "Way" that we are on today".

The Lord is My Shepherd, I shall not want...
In "All" my ways He does keep...
And whenever I'm feeling unsettled, have doubt..
He alone is the One I need to seek!

For He knows the end from the beginning...
He knows how it will all turn out!

So no matter "The Terrain I'm Walking On"
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD...
I HAVE "EVERY REASON TO SHOUT!"

Psalm 23:1-6 (amplified) "A Psalm of David"

"The Lord is my shepherd (to feed, guide, and shield me) I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in (fresh, tender) green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. He refreshes and restores my life (myself); He leads me in the paths of righteousness (uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but) for His name's sake. Yes, though I walk through the deep sunless valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for YOU are with me; Your rod (to protect) and Your staff (to guide), they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my (brimming) cup runs over. Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing Love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord ( and His presence) shall be my dwelling place".

HOW BLESSED WE ARE, WE DO NOT TRAVEL ALONE!

" COME AWAY TO THE QUIET "

God has been increasingly calling us to rest, trust and believe in and on Him. The very nature of these words impels us, in answering His call, to cease from worry, doubt, fear, concern or trying to figure things out.What I have come to know is that:

"HE IS CALLING US TO COME AWAY TO THE QUIET. QUIET IN OUR MIND, HEART, SOUL AND SPIRIT". HE IS CALLING US INTO "THE INTIMACY OF RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM".

Oh how He longs to spend time with us..to laugh with us, to speak to us..about everything that concerns us..and He desires that we would truly know the depth of His love for us..and also to know that we are the focus of our Father, our Creators love!

"As we choose to spend time in His presence, our knowledge of Him, our Joy in Him, will Increase..And, our desire to "Come Away to The Quiet" with Him, will overtake even our deepest needs."

One morning, a little while back as I was in the kitchen "doing kitchen stuff", I began to hear the Lord sing to me the following words from an old song:
"WHEN I'M CALLING YOU..ooooooooo!
 I was blessed with hearing and knowing it was Him right away, and then in a few seconds I knew, in my spirit, that he was calling me to spend time with Him.
I went outside and it was very peaceful. I listened for a moment and then the  words to a song, sang to me by Him at another time, began to fill my thoughts.
I know that He wants me to share them with you, and I encourage you to "let Him place a melody in your heart as you sing them".

Come away to the quiet...Come away to the Peace
I AM standing right beside you...
You will hear ME speak!

I will tell you how MY love for you 
Grows everyday...
And how I long to be with you.. 
Forever to stay!

Isn't it just amazing that the creator of all things, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ longs, seeks and invites us to "rest and abide in Him, His Love for us?!"
Yes, things get difficult for us..the trials, at times, seem  to come one upon the other..But..He is with us and He takes us through...Through to the other side...to the "Quiet Place." 
1 KINGS 19:11-12
"And He said, go out and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountain and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake;
 And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire (a sound of gentle stillness and) a still, small voice."
When harsh winds, earthquakes, fires, everyday difficulties assail us, He is with us..is taking us through, and He is already looking beyond these things to "The Quiet Place".
And here, with great tenderness, love and joy, He bids us come. He talks to us and says:
Do I not keep My promises? Am I not the God of endless love Who change's not? And have I not promised to always be with you? Have I not assured you that "Victory" is yours?
Oh, are we not "HIGHLY BLESSED and FAVORED CHILDREN OF OUR MOST HIGH GOD? 
                YES AND AMEN, YES AND AMEN!
I truly pray that all of us will, first of all, put all our hope and faith in Jesus...knowing the Victory has been accomplished. Secondly, that we would choose to respond to His Gentle Voice that calls out to us:
          "HERE AM I, COME HERE BESIDE ME"

I believe the following words will encourage us even more to respond to His call:

Stand and Still, Quiet and Rest..
These are the commands of my Lord..
The answer for every Test..

For He alone has the truth, the vision..
He Alone Writes the Rhyme..
Understands the Reason..

And as we "Rest" on HIS word, 
As we do as HE ask, 
"He shall bring it to pass."
