"IT'S SPRING-TIME IN THE SPIRIT"

It may not seem like spring where you are , but I am writing to share with you that Holy Spirit showed me that it is:
"SPRING-TIME IN THE SPIRIT!"
Now, most of us really like the spring-time...so I find this extremely exciting and full of promise. As I began to ponder about what occurs, in the natural, with the onset of spring and what it brings, I believe I have come to understand that:
"God wants us to see and receive the blessings of renewal, new life, and of things hoped for that spring brings, and to see that the "new is replacing the old."
When I think of springtime, I think of the appearance of robins. I think of butterflies moving gently along, and of birds chirping and singing, anxiously guarding their babes in the nest. My friend told me she thinks of beautiful, colorful  flowers (such as crocus) popping  up out of the earth where they have been "hidden."
I think of trees budding and bursting forth displaying  new life..and growth..coming alive again, replacing the barren appearance that winter brings. "The beauty of spring changes our focus..it causes hope to return in us and speaks to us that the promise of "new life" has once again been fulfilled.
The air holds a sense and fragrance of "pure" freshness. We are drawn out and into this wonderful season. Another way to say this is:
"Spring has Sprung and has given us a Spring in our Step."
We become energized..excited...it is as though something has been lifted off of us! Kids can play outside again. The "Joy" of being in the life-giving atmosphere, so clearly experienced at "Spring-Time", replaces the memory of waiting.
And lest we forget, those wonderful "Spring Showers" that come upon us...often.."suddenly", and when they are over, the freshness, the awareness of the "new life and beauty around us" has been stirred up again.
I believe that Jesus is saying a few things to us..
Matthew 11:28 (amplified)
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy- laden, and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. (I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.) "
Isaiah 42:9 (amplified)
"Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth, I tell you of them."

The day after Christmas (12-26-12), I began to have a sense that God was definitely moving us into a "new place" and that in this new place.."We we are never going to be the same again."
I want to encourage you today that God is taking you to new place..that indeed..the old is being replaced by the new..fresh life is springing forth in the midst of your hopelessness.
      "BE EXPECTANT"
He wants you to know and see that "all is not lost or dead", but that life is being released all around you..New Life.
Just as spring showers bring a "warm refreshing", by faith give Him all that you carry, and receive the refreshing outpouring from Holy Spirit as He releases you from the past and brings you into "The New".

"Spring has Sprung..Spring into step with Holy Spirit..Never the Same Again."

love and blessings in Jesus Name,
Drema
